German Rd Barn Fire

Shortly after 1:00pm on Friday January 16, 2009 The N.E.F.D was dispatched to German Rd for a reported barn fire.  Chief 201 arrived on location reporting a large barn well involved requesting the 2nd alarm Tanker assignment be dispatched.  Due to a structure fire in Waterford and a Structure Fire in Findley Lake, NY most of the Tankers were already on one of the two fire's.  Crews fought below zero temperatures to extinguish the fire.  Chief 200 had the German Rd command.  The N.E.F.D was assisted by  Harborcreek VFD, Brookside Fire Co and Perry Highway.
