Transfer assignment and Assist

Shortly before 4:30 am on Wednesday January 28,2009 Fuller Hose was dispatched to transfer an Engine to Fairfield while most of the East County departments were at a working fire on Buffalo Rd. in Wesleyville.  Engine 204 transfered with a crew of 4 to FFD.  After being at FFD for a short time WFD command requested E-204 to the scene.  Once on scene the crew from the Engine assisted with overhaul operations and also assisted with getting the hundreds of feet of frozen hose packed up.  Wesleyville Chief 300 had the Buffalo Rd. command.  WFD was assisted by Lawrence Park, Fairfield, Harborcreek, Brookside, Belle Valley and the City of Erie.  The PSP Fire Marshal is investigating the incident.
