Busy Wednesday for Fuller Hose

 

Fuller Hose was busy with multiple calls on Wednesday October 31, 2007……. The day started out around 11:30 with an EMS assist to Crescents for a fall victim on Gibson St. 

Then around 12:10 Fuller Hose was back on the street for a Pedestrian Struck at Main and Lake St.  Engine 203 arrived to find 1 patient uninjured and returned to service. 

After that Fuller Hose was back on the streets around 3:30 for a Brush Fire on Smith Rd. Brush 216 arrived to find 30’x50’ fire and spreading. Eng 203 arrived and put the booster reel into service and got a good stop on the fire. Crescent Engine 212 arrived and put a 1 ¾” attack line into service using Class A foam.  Fuller Tanker 206 arrived and supplied Eng. 203 and Eng 212 with Water.  All crews worked on over haul and returned to service. Chief 211 had the Smith Rd Command.

Just after the crews got all of the equipment back in service from the Brush Fire the N.E.F.D was dispatched to assist N.E.P.D with a search detail in the boro for an elderly female. Crews spent about 30 mins search and the female was found. 

After the search detail crews returned to the station to help get ready for the Halloween party at the fire house for the boys and girls of the N.E Community.  During the Trick –r- Treat hours the 5th and final call for the day came in. Fuller Hose was dispatched to I-90 @ mm 37 for a MVA. Engine 204 arrived to find 1 vehicle in the median as a result of a car –vs. - deer MVA with no Injuries. The Engine returned in time to help finish up with the Festivities.
