New Years Eve MVA - Route 89

Just before 8:00 PM Fuller Hose was dispatched to the 4000 block of Route 89 for a reported MVA with fire.  Engine 204 arrived on scene first finding one vehicle into a tree with a working vehicle fire.  The engine crew split up into two crews, the first crew began extinguishing the fire while the second crew check the vehicle for occupants.  The victim was found safely removed from the vehicle by neighbors.  The crew began assessing the patient and assisted EMS with packaging the patient.  Chief 200 had the Route 89 command.
