Brush Fire at Mooreheadville Air Park

Fuller Hose was dispatched on Saturday September 1, 2007 around 8:00 pm to the Mooreheadville Air Park on S. Haskell Rd for a reported brush fire.  Fuller L-2 arrived on location with an approx. 50’x50’ large brush pile well involved and spreading towards the woods.  Brush Truck 216 and Engine 203 arrived and put 2 – 1 3/4” hand lines and the booster reel into service. Harbor Creek Engine/Tanker 225 was called to the scene to assist with water supply.  Crews from Fuller Hose and Harbor Creek contained the fire in a short time. Fuller L-2 had the Mooreheadville Air Park command.
