Route 20 Hazmat

In the evening of Wednesday September 22, 2010 the NEFD was dispatched for a reported hazmat incident on Route 20 at the Kwik Fill Truck Stop.  Engine 204 arrived on scene to find a tractor trailer had hit a pole and was carrying a large amount of hazourdous material.  Chief 200 notified the EMA along with Erie Co. Hazmat and crews controlled the scene until the HAZMAT team arrived.  Once the HAZMAT team was on scene crews contained the spill and removed the truck from the road.  Chief 200 had the E Main Rd. command
