This 4th of July was a steady day for Fuller Hose  The Day started out 13 minutes before Midnight with a reported structure with possible entrapment in the Rolling Meadows Trailer Park. Eng. 202, Eng. 204 and Tanker 206 responded to find a mobile home with light smoke visible upon arrival.  Chief 211 reported burnt food on the with a victim with smoke inhalation, and down sized the assignment to Eng. 202, Ladder 209, Squad 217 and the ECI Medic.  The Engine crew assisted with ventilation, and returned available.  Chief 211 had the Loomis St. command.  Then around 4:00am Fuller's where at it again for a Brush fire along the R/R Tracks in the area of the R/R Museum.  Brush 216 responded to find a 15'x15' area burning, and extinguished the fire quickly. After that it was a quiet rest of the night.  Around 12:45 Engine 204 and Tanker 206 headed to Lawrence Park for their Annual 4th of July Parade.  Engine 204 bought home a trophy for Best Appearing Commercial Pumper and Tanker 206 bought home a trophy for Best Appearing Tanker.  The Final event for the evening was Engine 204 and Brush 216 headed to Mercyhurst North East for the fire works standby.  Thanks to mother nature there where no fire related emergencies.  On a side note hopefully the rain we received on Wednesday will give us a break from all the brush fires we have had the past few weeks.
