Around 5:30 am Thursday April 19,2007 Crews from North East where alerted for a reported structure fire on Emily Drive in North East Township. Chief 210 went responding, and the communications center advised that a female caller reported a fire in the basement. Chief 210 arrived on scene reporting a 2 story structure with smoke showing. Engine 202 from Fuller Hose arrived on scene and put a 1 ¾” attack line into service. Engine 204 from Fullers arrived next and layed in from the hydrant to establish 202’s water supply. Once crews where inside, they found a dryer fire in the laundry room. Once the Engine crew put a knock on the fire the crew from Crescent’s Ladder check for extension.
