On Thursday April 19,2007 the N.E.F.D SCUBA Team traveled to Presque Isle State Park in Millcreek Township to assist the West Lake Fire Department SCUBA Team, and the Erie County Sheriff’s SCUBA Team continue their search for a victim of a boating accident on Wednesday in Presque Isle Bay. The North East Team made 2 dives into the frigid 39 degree water. Due to rough water and high winds visibility was low. After spending most of the day in the cold water, the search was suspended for the day with negative results on finding the missing boater.
