With the return of Winter weather the N.E.F.D has been busy the last few days including this vehicle accident in the 9200 blk. of W Main Rd. around 07:05 am Wednesday Morning. Medic 192 from Emergycare arrived on location with 1 vehicle with heavy damage and 1 small school bus with moderate damage.  Chief 210 arrived assuming command and moved operations to channel 3.  Engine 204 arrived on scene and began controlling hazards on the school bus.  When Crescent hose began to package the patient from the car, they noticed a strong odor of gasoline.  Chief 210 had the Engine crew pull a booster line for protection.  once the patient was loaded in the ambulance the crew stood fast awaiting the wrecker.  Once the wreck removed the vehicle from the scene Engine 204 went available.  There were only a few children on the bus and none of them, or the bus driver where injured.
